Greetings from our brand new edition of « BBNews »!
All the articles are written by students in journalism either in first or second year. We are all interested in the different aspects of the news. Politics, Science, Environment, Arts, Sports, Education... are many subjects we will write about in this first edition of the year.
For the moment the international press is focused on the American Elections, we will of course deal with these elections, on the politic side and study the health program of both candidates. Even though the world seems to be obsessed by this major event we must not put aside other aspects of the actuality around the world. Such as the extinction of some mammals, the very disputed film about George W. Bush, the new grading system in british universities and last but not least, sports.
The important event of Monday the 19th of october ist he death of the French favourite nun Soeur Emmanuelle on the eve of her 100th birthday. She was known as the French Mother Theresa. Indeed she consecrated her life in helping the poor of the third world. This wonderful woman left a mark and will never be forgotten.
