Always more expensive !

Publié le par Ecole de Journalisme et Communication de Blagnac

Now in France we always have to look at the price each time we have to buy something. It's gonna be a automatism for us, franchies, or no, we can say it's already the case. We feel a certain frustration when we have to make food shoping for example.

Indeed, since some times there're a rise in some domains.

Rising food prices will be around 2% on certain products. Certain product categories could experience price increases as flour (+15% to +20%) or coffee (+10% to +20%). There are few products in fact whose prices remain stable in 2011: rice, prepared meals or mineral water. Poor consumers in developing countries should devote a part more important of their income for the food.

To keep up whit the increase of the price, natural gas prices rose 5.2% on average on April 1, but fortunately the price increase scheduled for 1 July has been canceled. Note since July 2005, natural gas rates have increased by 61%. In the past year alone, the price increase is 21%.

Since the begining of the year there's a raise of 30 cents on the oil price too. Rising oil prices could be notably the Libyan crisis. But one wonders if the oil companies are not taking advantage of political instability in North Africa to impose another unjustified increases in the price of gasoline.

To conclude we hope that there will not have others increase this year , in a way that we are not becoming paranoid about the prices.
