Kubrick honnered at the French Cinematheque
Bored to watch that shitting TV reality? Tired by the sight of stupid no-stubtle comedies ? Hey you, let's back to basics. You know, real visual theatre, no dibunked by this poor ambiant benevolence.
From the twenty three of March, the French cinematheque is highlighing one of the most genius movie artist of the 20th century : Stanley Kubrick. At last, oxygen. Well known precursory of the cinema, Kubrick built a eclectic masterpiece throughtout his life, from the drak movie (The Killing), by science fiction (A Space Odyssey), social anticipation (A Clockword Orange), historical reconstruction (Barry Lyndon), horror (Shining), to war movies (Full Metal Jacket). You must have seen one of these movies, or you must be a uncultivated. Mister Kubrick embodies a deep and disillusioned reflexion about a singular way of seeing the human beeing, his relations with the science and the technologie, his evolution and his self identity. Seeing the cultural background of some movies, we can easily say he has philosophic neurones.
Thus, with all pleasure, the French Cinematheque means to present much documents. Archives, photographies, interviews, screenplays, costumes, props, will be available until the September 7th. Indeed, a long period. No excuses so as not to broad his horizons. No excuses in order not to get out from a tasteless and neutral world.
