Lil wayne says goodbye to fans in online video before he goes to jail.
By Shaheem Reid on mtv.com.
First of all, in his article Reid brings too much tears for a guy who's going to begin a year-long in jail. We have to remind that rapper Lil'Wayne has been arrested because he had weapons during a fight. The problem is that Reid almost wants us to cry for Lil Wayne, but can we really cry for a guy who earns millions ( or more?) and who is still violent despite of being popular. Lil wayne wants to apologize, but is it really sincere? « To all my fans, my real fans I really, really truly love you. I love you with all of me for real »
Lil Wayne asked his fans to download at least one oh his song taken from his last LP “ Rebirth”. So obviously Wayne's takes advantage of that situation to have a big buzz, so that everybody talks about him. But, Reid, should he really had to relay this new?
Plus, Reid writes: “ Denver Nuggets guard J.R Smith ( who spent 30 days in jail last year for a reckless-driving incident in which his friend was killed) briefly called in to say what's up”. Come on, is it really interesting?
Reid draws a good face of Lil Wayne, as if he was an angel. And Wayne is humble as we can see when he says that this online video is “History”.
In this article, Wayne appears as a hardworker. “ Tonight's my last night.. I came to the studio to get some work done. To all you artists out there, that should be a message or example. I came to work.”
Reid wants to show that the Hip-Hop community is with Lil Wayne. But are the other rappers sincere?
Wayne must be scared to be forgotten during his jail time. Don't worry Wayne, Shaheem Reid is here...
