Penis: A big art
WARNING: this article should not be read by the people under 14.
Let's turn back time, and here we are in 2004. Notre Dame de Fourvière welcomed a nice exhibition. Next to Lyon, a huge collection of penis took place. The last proof of Raspoutine's life under the roof of the museum. His penis.
If you love penis or even sex, you will love what happened in this museum. Pictures, icons or ceramic phalluses were living next to god for a while. Few were from the 19th century or more recent, but they are all, absolutely all wonderful. The archibishop Broc de la Martinière said about that: « Museum is there to satisfy people's curiosity, but it helps bishops and religious to face their sexual deficiency or deviance, and to beat the taboo against sexuality »
This is meant to relax bishops about this topic, and it is a way of making them more optimistic. It's not a simple exhibition, the aim is deeper. It is here, to make those church people more open-minded about sexuality.
The man who organised this event used to be a sexologist and urologist. He is totally free with sex, and likes the fact of speaking about it with narrow-minded people. Plus, mr Broc de la Martinière , has a huge wonderful collection. More than 12,000 penis just for him. He keeps them, with jealousy at home.
We could also see this sculpture of a thermometer in a vagina, a Venus staring at her anatomy in front of a mirror...
His favourite penis is Raspoutine's. His sex is loved by people. This Russian Tsar is famous for his love for sex. The archibishop bought his penis for 8000$. Under the object, we can see written: « Raspoutine's penis, murdered in St- Petersbourg during the night of the 16th to the 17th. 28,5cm. » There is a legend around his penis, which is so beautiful...
« It is said that every December the 16th, every 10 years, if it is placed in an orthodox sanctuary, if the moon is full, his penis gets harder... »
There is a musical background, such as « Quand je pense à Fernande... », Everything is here to reduce the taboo.
To conclude, we can obviously see that this exhibition is here for fun, to make the church more open-minded.
P.S: We are sorry to tell you that all this was fake...just a fiction. We won't see a penis under God's roof tomorrow...
