At dawn, Thursday, February 3rd , the hurricane Yasi stormed on the Australian northeast coasts, in the region of Queensland. It's the second natural disaster that stormed the country in this year.

Even if many experts seen Yasi as one of the mightiest hurricanes since 2005 and Katrina.

Fortunately, damages were not as terrible as they thought. Thanks to a great preparation of authorities, the hurricane did not make any victim. Moreover, the national laws about the new way to build Australian's houses were beneficial to the population security. Despite strong winds, just some roof had been swept away.

For the inhabitants of Queensland, this is a real miracle. Because a lot of people live there.

Today, natural disasters are more and more important like Katrina, Yvan, Xynthia, earthquakes in Haiti, so maybe end of the world in 2012 is a truth.
