Theater: from writting to acting

My teacher, Mr Streep, asked us to write a play, and after to act it. My first feeling was a combinationof scare and twitter in front of this challenge. Mr Streep gave us one month to take up this challenge. One month only for writting and act our play!!
Each one had a specific task, mine was in the first time stage-manager but we will see later that it will change. Ready?

The parts assigned, we have to begin by finding an interesting framework and it was not the  easiest especially when it is your first job with responsabilities with a deadline. Nonetheless at the end of the day, we found it, it was a really relief. We have to act a new play on our consumer society and its damages. In my opinion, I think it was not an interesting subject, but I discovered how acting and being ironical on the society issues. The writting was fast, everybody had many ideas and opinions on the subject. It was a mix of ironie, sarcastic remarks,...
So the rehearsaes could begin... and the problems too!!

The rehearsaes, we wanted them serious but also very open, where all the people can laugh and share. Sometimes, we act outside because the auditorium was closed for renovation, the joke!! But this one tought me to manage and oversee the works.
The representation,  is tomorrow. Everybody stress out, but I said that we are ready, and we worked hard and it is not to fail now!!
For my first time, I will see a play from backstage. When ready start, all the people were not stressed out but rather stimulated. New problem an actor was sick, so I have to transformed me into an actor, me who had never act in a play. I'm so stressed out. The play knew a surprising success with the public.
Actors, me,... feel better, and overjoyed.
It was a great lesson for me, discover my abilities to oversee, laugh and mostly share!!
