No retreat of the reform, no lessons

For seven weeks, teachers of the French Superior Education are on strike against Valérie Pécresse's (the French minister of the National Education) projects, in particular the one on universities's autonomy. Thirty six colleges are ready to participate to the social mouvment organized next Thursday, the 19th of March, including Toulouse-II Le Mirail and Toulouse-III Paul Sabatier. All the labor unions of education : FAEN, FERC-CGT, FNEC-FP-FO, FSU, SGEN-CFDT, Sud-Education and UNSA Education will be in the street in two days. Students and teachers of the two colleges Le Mirail and Paul Sabatier had already show their motivation by blocking the accesses of their classrooms. President of Le Mirail, Daniel Filâtre, made an announcement yesterday : his college is administrately closed but he is against block actions by his students.
Minister Valérie Pécresse remains that according to the law, teachers on strike must declare themselves to the administration in order to do wage restraints. These wage restraints are the same for one hour and for one day without working, which revolt the strikers. Bruno Sire, the président of Toulouse-I l'Arsenal, will check by email if his teaching staff is at work. But for Thursday, the leitmotiv is « unite the strengthsfrom nursery school to college !».
