A man kills his daughter

He had just obtained from the justice the right to see his daughter. On Saturday, in the Bas-Rhin, this 38-year-old father killed the three years child before returning the weapon against him. According to the maternal grandfather of the victim, the man was "violent and alcoholic". For several months, he lived separated from his partner, a 41-year-old woman, to Dinsheim-sur-Bruche, where the drama occurred.

Whereas the mother had engaged a procedure to obtain the custody, the man had obtained on Thursday, of a families judge in Strasbourg, a right of access for the weekend. The father of the girl, who worked in a metal factory, had gone to the place of mother residence in Benfeld to come to look for his daughter on Saturday, according to the public prosecutor's department. The bodies of the child and her father were discovered later in the evening by an aunt in the cellar of the residence of Dinsheim.

According to the maternal grandfather, the man was summoned to appear before the courts next March for assault and battery on his ex-partner and had already threatened with death the girl. " We expected that he comes to strike a blow at her. I am angry because we delivered my granddaughter to a freak ", he accuses. " It would seem that we are within the framework of a conflicting separation ", indicated from his part the prosecutor of the Republic of Saverne, Caroline Nisand.

" It would seem that the father, not managing to exercise his right of access, obtained it within the framework of a judicial procedure ", she added without being able to confirm that a decision of justice had intervened recently. " At the moment, we proceed to the checks and estimate. We are at the stage of the hypotheses there ", she concluded.
