Deadly attack on a teen

Alex Allerano, aged 15 has been beaten and shot. His body was found burned on Saturday in a gangway in the 3000 block of West 54th Street, miles from his home. Alex lived with his mother, Jeimi Tirado; his 12-year-old sister, and his brother, 5. He liked Dragon Ball Z cartoons and the music of singer Chalino Sanchez.

A witness affirmed having seen the attackers deliberately hitting the boy with a car and chasing him. A seasoned officer said on Sunday : "The poor thing was tortured, darn near, with the beating and all the other things he went through."

According to the police Alex has no « gang affiliation » and there is no record of him being in trouble with someone. After the autopsy, the cause of death was a gunshot wound in the head.

The Tirados are urging witnesses to call the police and address to the criminals as cowards as human being would never to such a thing on another human being specially a child.
