Paranormal Activity comes in France !

«Scariest movie of all time » say Americans. « Paranormal Activity » is a no

bugdet film. It means cost production isn't expensive (about 10 000$) like Saw

(horror fillm) which use a lot of special effects for example. History ? Katie, a

woman who want to be a Spanish teacher, heard noise during her nigths when she is

sleeping. Ghost ? Maybe. Her boyfriend, Micah, buys a camera to film their night

for one month. The scene takes place only in their own house. At First, nights

were calm. The film begins slowly. During the day, the story is boring but when the

night arrives....we can see doors which close alone...a sheet starts to blow ...we can

heard somebody walking on the floor and see their footprints... More we are

progressing in the story and more signs of spirit are stronger. Katie becomes very

anxious and we fell it... It was impossible to not jump of our seat.

In general, horror films use blood, people who are very ugly. A lot of persons

are killed. « Paranormal activity » isn't gore ! It plays on the imagination of people.

What we don't see, we imagine it ! It's really frightening. In the USA the film went out in twelve cities. Word of mouth grows very quickly and it is everywhere now.

Producers won $100m. The film was shoted in seven days in 2006. The absence of

technique isn't prejudiciable. It allows us to enter easier in the story. We could be

at the same place. Ten years ago, « The Blair Witch Project » had the same success

with the same recipe. A film with a little budget filmed by fan of paranormal. So we

can say that amateur film could more be efficient to afraid people that films with

bigger budget.

In conclusion; if you are cardiac, doesn't go to the cinema !

For the others...Good Night !
