The Future is here! At our time, Millions of people are dying, they haven't food, water... But The americans look forwards, they want to make water, air, and colonizes the red planet. But a travel to mars take 6 to 9 month! Since 2005, Rockets is working to make a new engine : VASIMR
(Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket).
It's The world's most powerful ion engine, with that, we could make Earth-Mars in around one Month, with the same quantity of Fuel. So it's a real revolution in the space conquest!
The beast turns with 5,000 volts.with this stuff, a space ship got a very hight speed : around 300.000 M/s! Hello Mars, it's us, we are coming! Yes, 300,000 M/s is four times the actual speed of the ions propulsor.
But with conventional thrusters, the boosts consume 7.5 tonnes of propellant each year. VASIMR could do the same job with just 0.3 tonnes of argon per year. Since it is expensive to launch fuel into orbit, that could save millions of dollars per year, and with this , they will less radiations, it's better for the astronauts health.
The Windows Phone
October 6th 2009, Microsoft announces officialy the Windows Phone. After Apple, RIM, now Google , Microsfot arrives on the smartphones market. The interface looks good, but not very original. For the web , it's quitte good, but Apple with Safari Mobile is always up into the navigation on the web for the smartphones. So it's not a revolution, but Windows mobile makes a good start on the smartphones market. And they want to sell it everywhere in the world.
Touch, touch , always touch, at this century, we are seeing touch phones everywhere and Windows wants keeping the market, so its first phone is a touch phone. Blackberry is the last one that continues to make new phones without touch interface.
At launch, The windows phone has only 60 applications in the UK, Iphone : 85,000. So the Windows phone must catch up its delay. Windows Phone also includes a service called MyPhone which allows a user to automatically store
A lot of people where waiting for this phone , but the other new Microsoft product : Zune (Window's MP4), was created with a lot of problems, so the customers are doubtful.
